David Brown Backhoe, what did I buy?

It is listed as "880 UMU". Serial number is also shown. Does anyone here have access to model/serial number records? Is it possible to discern what year? It is a 3 cylinder diesel.

Anyone have a solid electrical diagram?currently has a "hold the two wires together and press this button" thing going on. I'd like to square that away right away.

Also needs fresh gauges.

help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Was that in North Louisiana, by chance? I remember seeing one like that for sale several years ago, but the one I saw may have been a 990 and the tires were half sunk in the dirt. Anyway, that serial number is a stumper. The numeric figure exceeds all the numbers given for the 880 on the Tractor Data website. Maybe Rich will log on and provide some insight. In the meantime, what is the number stamped on the FRAME of the tractor at the location depicted in the following photos? Note: you may have to remove layers of grease / oil / dirt / paint to read it, but it SHOULD be there.
