Does anybody know if an injection pump from a David brown 990 implematic will work fine, if fitted to a 990 selectormatic?
 
I do not know the answer to the question. But I do know that the pump on the left in the photograph came off a 990 implematic AD4/47 engine and the pump on the right came off a 990 Selectamatic AD4/49 engine. There are obvious differences in the gear mounting.
