DB 995 lift arm issues

I see this is a common question and have seen where someone said, "search the forum for Elmer and hydraulics" but I can't find a way to
search the forums. where is there a search box?

Ok, found the search function by changing to "modern view"

I still can't find what I'm looking for. My DB 995 lift arms are always up. I can open up the bypass valves under the plate on top of the control valve and they will drop, but as soon as I fire up the tractor, they shoot right up and I can hear load on the tractor once they hit the top and it stays. Seems like a stuck valve to me. I would really like to get this fixed so I can use the 3pt arms. The pressure is also an issue now. I'm hoping that is the orings between the pump and the housing, but I am open to any and all discussions/threads/comments as I'd love to keep this tractor, it's been good to me so far.

thank you!

Full lift is caused by either the "Spool" valve being stuck, or the latching" valve being stuck. Both require removing the selectamatic valve to fix.

If the tractor has been laboring against the relief valve for a long time you may have prematurely hurt the pump.
