DC 3 no spark.

Boring day decided to pull tractor out of barn. Been sitting for 7 years. Can't seem to get any spark. When parked timing was perfect. Any ideas. It doesn't have a mag, just coil and distributor.

Are you sure your ignition coil is good? That would be the first place I would start. Hook a line from the positive side of the battery straight to the positive side of the ignition coil and see if anything changes.

Voltage to the coil when the switch is closed. if so, cap off and make sure the points are clean. Your
problem will be in the low voltage or primary side of the circuit....... Voltage to the coil, voltage
out of the coil to the dist breaker points and condensor, when points are closed the circuit is complete
to ground. The "switch" (breaker points) has to open and close the circuit. This is were most problems
occur. But because it's been sitting I'd verify voltage to the coil first. Others will have ideas

as mentioned previously I would check the points to make sure they are clean and working properly, after sitting that long the points could
have gotten slightly corroded and not be conducting as they should. also check the terminals on the bottom of the distributor cap to make
sure that they and the rotor are clean and not dirty and corroded.

If it's been sitting for seven years the points need cleaned or
replaced.

One thing is certain, you will chase this
problem round and round unless you start at
the battery and check each part as you move
towards the points for proper power. The
problem could easily be any part in the
system, including bad connections at any
joint.
