(quoted from post at 15:34:27 11/05/21) What do folks recommend putting on a DC for lights?
Is originality a concern? Is it still 6 volts or has it been converted to 12 V. I redid a WC Allis complete electrical system and the customer was ok with LED so I went to Tractor Supply and got new lights. They were brilliant and use hardly any current. If it is a work tractor that is what In would do if it were mine.

I think they look stupid if they don't have the original style lights. I hate the square lights on any old tractor. If it's 12 volts. I would swap out the bulbs.

I found some 6v led bulbs a few years ago for my VAC. Original look, better lighting.
I think the biggest problem I had was finding bulbs that worked with positive ground. Memory is fuzzy on that.

I agree original lights are the best, However if you don't have them or want to have sealed beams, the headlights on older Massy Ferguson combines look very similar and are plentiful at salvage yards
