where do i check the transmition oil for the rear end it is a 1952 dc case with eagle hitch book say it will hold approx 10,5 gal

There is a quarter inch pipe plug on the right side behind the trumpet housing flange and lower that the centerline of the axle. If it is low on oil, I use a bent wire to determine how low.

There are two fill plugs on top left and towards the rear. The front plug is tranny oil and the rear is hyd oil. The hyd oil check is also a quarter in pipe plug on the left rear side but higher up than the tranny level plug.
