DC width

How wide is the rear axle of a DC from the outside of the axle seal one side to the other? Mine and my dads are 100 miles away and I'm try to build up a set of cut-offs that will bolt onto a set of 6 hole DO axles and need to get the width correct.

The rear housing is 14 1/2" wide. The axle housings are 16 1/4" long. The axle seals are 1 3/8" wide. Add this all up and your answer is 49 3/4".

Thanks. I can move forward with the spoke wheels. Not sure what it will weigh with my 225 on it. It will have the heavy cast rims on the front with an eagle cover over the chains.
