Wow thats just crazy what a concoction for a hitch no safety chains and notice the bedliner in the truck is melted down if its plastic I cant tell,, wow

(quoted from post at 05:39:14 02/04/22) What could go wrong....

Nothing went wrong. He got home safe and sound, and installed a proper gooseneck hitch in his truck before he towed the trailer again. He had to get it that day or they were going to start charging for storage.

I'm sure some of you are, "Find someone with a gooseneck to haul it for you." Ask everyone you know, "Know anybody with a gooseneck?" All the answers are, "No." Now what do you do?

At least he has lights.
I had a goose neck like that once.
That hitch extends long enough to put it on the bumper and you dont need all the extra.
I had mine hooked to a 1 ton van for 3 years and hauled some 5000 lbs loads. Didnt own a truck at the time and you got to do what you can.

Yes, this has been on YT before, and there is nothing wrong here because the driver was being careful and it was on a Sunday morning.

Late December, that guy back into my car and broke my grill. Doesn't take his hich off when not towing. :(

Still waiting for the body shop to get a new grill. :(

At least his inurance accepted full responsibility on his behalf.

Not on that trailer.
Looks like it is fully extended as is.

All the weight on his load is probably on the back behind the axles so there is no tongue weight so it'll be ok.

Must've not have been Geico; I made a left turn with a green arrow-vehicle facing me turned right on red into my side. Geico determined it was 20% my fault, even though it was a four lane road and she was on her phone and crossed over the traffic lane. Wish I'd had a dash cam. I ripped her side of her car as I was instantly on my brakes when I realized what was happening. Geico would've claimed had you not been there, it wouldn't have happened.

Hay Bubba, come see ow I fixed my hitch. I told you I could do it. Now I can haul your tractor across town, On Interstate 40. Stan

Used to be a guy that I would see around here that had a mid 70's LTD. He took the back window out and mounted a gooseneck hitch over the rear axle. He would haul a car on the trailer all the time.

Id have done it in a heartbeat with an empty trailer. My big tri
axle bumper pulls is almost as heavy as a gooseneck trailer
anyway

What's important, is that the tractor he's hauling was fully chained on all four corners with 3/8 chain and ratchet binders.
