Dearborn Plow

i noticed a Dearborn plow at my parents house a few weeks ago. Dad bought it for $150 from a local tractor implement dealer before they went out of business. he said they used it once a few years ago. i was immediately interested in it because its around the same era as my 2N and 8N. i was thinking about going to get it and bring it home to get a closer look. its been in the weather for a long time. i did notice one of the hitch pin arms has been broken, and a hitch pin has been welded onto the broken arm.
i would like to at least use it in tractor parades, my soil is so sandy the disc digs my garden good enough to not need the plow. maybe when i move a few counties away to hard clay soil.

what are your thoughts on it?
its a Dearborn 10-156

Anything with the Dearborn Name on it is 1948 to 1954, 55 had the Ford name on it. And up to 47 all plows for Ford carried the Ferguson name. So it could have been for your 8N or a NAA tractor. The plow for your 2N would have carried the ferguson nane.

i was reading through some literature for the plow, and noticed from pictures i am missing the coulter and jointer setup. i read that some people have had luck modifying those parts from other plows and fitting them to the 10-156.

As long as the shank is same diameter they will work. JD & IHC had a bigger shank than Ford but Oliver were about Ford size, The clamp just has to fit the shank or it will not tighten up and hold. Don't know if a JD or IHC clamp could be fit to a dearborn frame or not. Could not be done on a Ferguson plow as part of clamp was built into beam of plow.
