Well I have been out hunting in the groves and found another treasure this one was a foot away from being under water but not bad for sitting for 20+ years I can read 10-1 on the tag how do i measure to make sure it is a 14 in plow also are the bearings normally replaceable in the coultiers one is seized also can you tell if I am missing anything. I got this a 3 pt plow we think is a fergie sko 20 a allis double gang disk and a john deere pull style cultivator for way cheap now the fun to get them all working

You guys do know that if you hook your tape measure over one edge of the first beam and measure to the same side of the second beam it gives you the center spacing, huh ? HTH

I think the beams are different thickness. Best to measure center to center though your way would only be about 1/4-1/2" off.
Your way works on studs when you're framing though.

We're ALL studs when we are framing !! Did you know that K.D. Lang (music person) refused to have her house framed in the normal fashion - tongue in groove only. ;^)

If that plow's been sitting for 20 years you live in a very different climate than I do. Nice find. You can get virtually any bearing you need through the internet though you may need to measure in metric.

I live in west central MN and this was sitting in a grove the shares were in the ground stuck but the paint looked good the disk i got looks a little worse but all but one of the bearings on that are good also
