Dearborn sicklebar mower

Hi. I am working on getting a Dearborn sicklebar mower all together and operating. I am looking for a belt guard for this machine and was wondering if anyone knows of a source for a good used one. I contacted Walt’s tractor in Missouri, and they didn’t have one at the present time, but told me to check back later and they my run across one. Just checking here to see if I could get a lead on some other sources. The model of the machine is 14-16. The part number is 142716.

This is just a parts mower as it has more than just a belt guard missing! Sure wish someone had a use for it! I'd like to be rid of it before some neighborhood kid decides to climb/fall on it!

Not sure of model numbers but my first cousin is selling his 50 8N and the implements bought new by his father in 1950. Included is a sickle bar mower with little time but storage inside for 60+ years.

At 81, I doubt that he is willing to mess around with parts but the mower (and other things) are going to go within the next few weeks (or even days).

Sheet metal guards on old equipment have a tough life. You may do better asking for a sketch with measurements, or maybe you could do it from a picture and the dimensions of your mower, then take them to a sheet metal shop.
