Decals

I am looking for a source to get the proper decal locations for a 1951 H. I have her all painted and put back together ready for decals. I am also looking for advise on applying the decals.

Hi Joe;

Can't really help with the locations other than to search the Tractor Photo archives and compare, or search a site dedicated to your make of tractor and inquire there.

As for application, use Windex to wet the surface. (This will allow you to move the decal as needed.) Then apply decal and lightly squiggy over the decal. A sign shop can sell you a soft rubber squiggy that will work. Any residue of Windex will dry and not be a problem.

For locations get Guy Fay's Farmall Letter Series Tractors, it gives exact measurements.

Does Jorde's sell IHC or Farmall decals as I usually see them associated with the Deere stuff and have never seen one of their ads in an IH publication. Most of the IHC folks feel Maple-Hunter has the best quality IHC decals. Just curious for future restoration projects, Hal.
