On Sat I finish planting my 85 day Round Up ready corn, about 5 acres. All I need now is some rain. Every year though it has been the same scenario here in Western, Pa. The seeds germinate and then we go into the drought mode.
Hopefully this year will be different.

If you don't mind me asking where are you from? I'm from south western PA. We planted field corn last monday and it popped up after 6 days. Then we got a great rain so it'll take off now.

My corn has been up for a couple of weeks in one plot and a few days in the other. Cowpeas emerged a couple of days ago. We're supposed to get around an inch of rain over the next couple of days. Hope the weatherman is more accurate than usual.

I am a little west of Butler ,Pa, but I have a couple of scattered properties near Dayton and near Leechburg, Pa.
