It is a Tecumseh engine, removed the hood and front grill to get coil wire on, and seen the ID tag, Model SBH-172A, serial 2004. Got it running but sounds like the head gasket is blown under the shroud. Couldn't restart after it was running a few minutes, will try again when I haul it to my shop to work on. To verify the gasket was blown, I held a rag over the muffler outlet and it wasn't being pushed back at all. Or is there a compression release for the starter/generator? I could wiggled the park band on the hub so there is clearance, but seems to come to a quick stop when the clutch is pushed. Park knob on park linkage is free and loose. Was also kind of hard to get it in gear, some grinding. Thanks chris
