I am needing help with a description of a part that I have. PN J1477-H+. I suspect that it is a item used for hand cranking a tractor with maybe a corn picker attachment.

Some implements with part # that had prefix of "J" & suffix of "H" were manufactured in the Harvester factory. I can't envision on what implement that part was used on.

I've never seen that part before until photo was posted here. It would be interesting to see it demonstrated starting an engine on 2 cylinder tractor.

Tx Jim, Thank you so much for the picture. Just exactly what I hoped for. I have the pipe shaft and starting wheel but did not realize they went together. Many thanks.

Bob Hess is the person that guided me in correct direction. I had checked JD 101 & 120 corn snapper parts catalogs earlier with no good results. I was unaware with the model 226 corn picker until Bob Hess mentioned it.
