One reason I never got into watching tractor pulls. By the end, it's just the same 5 or 6 tractors over and over, just with more weights added each time.

Actually, there aren't even that many tractor pulls around here any more. Some guys and I were talking about that just the other day. Not sure the reason, but you don't hear much about them around here anymore.

I think it's a fake picture. By the time you get that many weights hung on the tractor
it's usually between 1 and 3am in the morning. There should be at least a six pack of
crushed aluminum beer cans stuffed in weight handles but still visible. LOL

I hope it's photoshopped, I can't see the drive train or the frame being able to hold up to that weight. I also think there would be more bulging in the tires at ground contact up front if it were real. real

Ya I would think it would need a pair of ship pistons to utilize that much weight. Then the block would not even fit between the frame rails.

For those who think it's fake, it's not. That's for what they call dead weight pulling. They stack cement blocks on a skid and you have to move it so many feet. Just like horse pulling.

On dead weight pulling I don’t see what the difference is after he moves it the 1st foot. Nothing increases how hard the stone sled pulls as it would with a pulling sled with an advancing weight? I suppose there is the fact that you have to make it that distance without dumping the rear end or trans guts out.

That looks more realistic, and inline with weight placement on tractor pulling videos I've watched. The original image of this post being dead on I believe would allow for mind tricks. I don't think the tractor could support all that weight at the bell housing. If the tractor in subject posts first image was from the side like the second image, then it is what it is. Something that should have never been.

Anybody ever try using a skid/sled like that with small square haybales? I guess the 33000 includes the weight of the truck but that is a well built skid. I guess it's wood?

Around me it was called "stone boat" and yes starting it was half the battle. Not as popular as it once was Also used for horse and ox pulling.
