Dekalb Corn Question

Has anyone on here planted Dekalb 70-64? Its a 120 day corn, i bought a leftover bag the other day and don't know much about it. The price was very good so that was hard to turn down. I'm mainly interested in the ear size and yield.

A quick google search says DKC 70-64 is a west coast silage corn.

If you don't know how it was stored, a germination test would be a good idea.

Where are you located? Anything that long a season is no good for anyplace above the Ky-Ohio border. In Ohio I would plant nothing above a 108 day and prefered to stay with a 105 day corn.

I had some in a plot in 2018. I made pretty good and stood very well. I didn't plant anything that late in 2019. I think it is a good choice for the price.
