This data sheet tells it all about how to hook up the 10-SI used in the 12V conversion kits!
The kits should have this document in there!
With the dash light and remote sense hooked up correctly, then you can get your darn charging current at low RPM with good regulation.

No problem,

Also the bulb can be the #68 bayonet type double contact automotive bulb (since neither side sees ground).
Cole-Herse has the insulated socket that comes with a bulb.
I have the part # for the socket if needed.
The dash hole is around 3/4" to 7/8".

Well, that's probably because it makes (generates) electrical current. (Some foks call them AC-generators.)

We probably should call a generator ..an "alternator"... because depending upon rotational speed it.. alternates between producing current and not as it's cut-in/cut-out cycles. :lol:
