Hey guys,I bought a deutz and was told it is a 6006. How do I tell for sure. It's been painted several times and so have the rims. A 5506 has the same motor,with dark green with red rims. This looks like that is the original paint. Everything I can find says it should have a high/low with 4 gears. Mine has a creeper, high/low and is a 3 speed. Mine also has 18.4 -30 on the rear. There is no tags on the tin work,only tag is on the motor. Here is the pump tag aswell.Any ideas?

The 60-06 models I have been around had a 3x3 trans. Friend bought one new in 74

If it is a 6006, the tin work should be the light lime green with the blue on the frame work. Did all models of 6006 have the same paint scheme or did it change?Does anyone have paint codes?Tractor data said it should be a 4 speed, did that change certain years?

If memory serves correctly my D6006 has 9 forward speeds and three reverse. The right selector has three positions setting the ratio while the left selector is three forward and one reverse speeds. In this information I think Tractor Data is incorrect on this one item.
