it an older model that has some sort or load sensing speed control is ther any way to bypass and run full speed ? Now it goes from low to high while cutting and back to low speed

Sounds like the tool is worn out.
I have never saw a DeWalt cordless Sawzall change speeds with the trigger fully depressed unless the battery was going dead.

I doubt it. Sounds like the trigger is going bad. 18 volt or 20 volt?

Some tools adjust the power to the tool to keep a consistent speed under different loads.

Some tools have a progression trigger that allows the user to adjust the speed.

While I have not used every tool out there every reciprocating saw (sawzall is a trade name) I have ever used is of the progression trigger type.

I had quite a number of older DeWalt cordless tools with triggers that went bad and I replaced. Mostly drills.
