Dexter 8-133 vs 8-222 hubs?

What is the difference between the 8-133 and 8-222 Dexter hubs? Could it be the earlier vs later seals and bearings? Will an 8-222 fit on the same axle as the 8-133? I have an 8-133 with a crack in it (1968 trailer) and not having any luck finding 8-133 hubs- thanks!

I would think a knowledgeable distributor would be able to fix you up with a hub to replace it both fit and finish. Same place you would get the hub conversions at.
