Diagnosing knock

Any tips to diagnose a MF 2135 knock?

Its a continental 4 cyl. gas. Would pulling plugs and rolling it with the starter be enough to replicate?

A 2 or 3 foot piece of hose with one end up to your ear will help you find it.

hardly. you must know if its bottom end or top end and what kind of knock. but yes as said use a piece of hose. do not run more that u have
to.

Get her running......
Then pull a spark plug wire off off......
Then replace spark plug wire.......DID Knock change? vanish? or stayed the same?

Do the same for all spark plug leads.....
Get back to YT and tell us if any cylinder stopped knocking when lead was removed.......
OR become worse......

Update:

Ran without knock, then knock appears...
Knock disappears again after 2 minutes. Pushing in the clutch slowly brings knock back but everything seems ok above inspection plate.

Now the tractor is not knocking at all?

It's not coming from the engine...
