Didn't know these existed?

I'm pretty sure that the S-O-S was available on just about every variant of the 1965+ 2000/3000/4000/5000 series except for the 5500 & 5550.

I found it to be a little surprising, but the Select-O-Speed wasn't available in the 2000, for some years anyway. My literature
shows it as not available in 1968 (literature is from early '68, shows tractors with louvered hoods, and does not list the 8000) or
1973. The 1968 literature also says the 8-speed was not available in a 2000... yet the 8-speed and SOS were both available in the
2110.

I always thought a 2110 should have been called a 3110. Look one over closely and you'll see even the early ones had square axles with diff lock optional, flow control valves, and adjustable left side lift link. 3000s always had that stuff. 2000s got square axles with DL late in production but not the other things. Not sure if the 2110 draft spring was open like a 2000 or enclosed like a 3000 had. Maybe someone here has one and can say.

I had figured the select o speed was killed off after the pre
force series. This tractor looks like it's a 70's plus unless
someone switched out the cowl and grill. I see the 4000 row
crop with sos all the time (usually narrow front) and had a 67
5000 with sos but just surprised to see they made a row crop
mode with the sos selector built into the dash like a 6000.
That tractor has to be rare.

Good evening gents
I own a 1966 2110 sos. It has a round axle, no diff lock, no flo control, nonadjustable left lift link, and an open draft spring. I use it a lot. This is my 2nd sos and so far I wouldn't own anything else.

When we bought our '72 5200 used in the '80s, there had been two 5200's traded in by the first owner. The one we bought is the 8 speed, the other was a sos. The dealer recommended the 8 speed over the sos as they had stopped making many parts by then. Counting that one I've seen 3.

My '73 4000 is a S-O-S.
