diesel engine D-175

have a I-600 backhoe, with a D-175 engine same as D-15 tractor. just did enjection pump, enjectors were done. has a bad miss at hi rpm, and unburnt fuel comes out of exhaust.compression is about 300 at cranking speed, whitch the book says is ok? any ideas? also does any other machinerey use this engine, combines etc?

Retard the pump timing by 1° and put 'er to work to cure that slobber.

300psi? Where did you read that? The O.E. A-C manual says 385 to 425psi.

You have a timing issue , check it and get it set right before it ruins it
