Diesel oil OK for Hydraulics?

Hello,

I'm wondering if it's acceptable to put this oil* for Hydraulics in a TEA20 even though if its designed for diesel? Can it be damaging?

A lot of us have switched to motor oil over hydraulic oil very specifically to keep water from being drawn in through moisture in the air and
sometimes leaking shifter boots. Use the same oil as in the engine but less frequent changes for the hydraulic/transmission. I learned this
on the forum here many years ago and continue the practice.

That's what I understood while reading older posts about hydraulic oil... but my concern is about additives that may be added in particular for diesel oil, if so. Because some additives are not good for bronze parts for example, I wanted to know...
