Diesel Tank function without Vent

TX. Jim , I have been looking for that info for years, didn't realize I had to click further into the document to get the test data, that clearly means I am wrong about fuel consumption and something is going on. I have read on several other forums of two instances where the non fill tank was not emptying due to venting issues. The guy said each tank has to vent individually and that is how he got them to equalize but the CASE schematic says otherwise?

It's not unusual for real life fuel consumption to be less than Nebraska tests which are normally recorded at 100 engine output. According to Tractordata 1490 JI Case & 1490 David Brown were the same tractors

Any tank needs a way for air to get in for the contents to come out. Otherwise you end up with a tank that looks like a used toothpaste tube.

I believe yes, after Case bought them. Some of them had both Case and David Brown names on them.
