Moving along with this 3910 problem I have a question: I am assuming that the 4.4x4.2 engine was designed with the earlier design of injectors. Apparently my Series II is an '88 model and probably has the upgraded injectors you mentioned due to its date of manufacture which we are currently assuming that was Sept. '88. What if my problem is the fact that having the new injector design, the engine just doesn't like that design and manifests itself with vibrations especially between 1600 and 1800 RPM.
I have purchased both the old and new sets and they will be arriving in a few days......I was thinking about installing the old design first and see how that works before I went on to the new design. If the engine is happy with the old design them this problem is solved. What do you think?
