Just saw it in town here at$6.09.That place spent a few days at $5.99,but that changed this morning.Cheapest in town is $5.74.I like to take pictures of the signs, but I didn't have the camera with me today.

I was thinking about this earlier this AM. A group of people that really get hurt are a lot of the truck owner operators. Many have fuel escalation allowances in their contracts, but many don't. And fuel is a higher proportion of the overhead for them than in pretty much anything else.

I filled my dually when diesel was $3.15 and it's been sitting since then, I use it for towing and haven't gone anywhere lately. I dread the refill price.

Prices shown here are updated frequently, but may not reflect the price at the pump at the time of purchase. All sales will be made at the price posted on the pumps at each Costco location at the time of

This copied and pasted from Costco website for Bismarck ND at 1:50 pm on 4/2/26. Still $3.46 for gas and $4.45 for diesel. Been about that for a couple of weeks.

$4.29 near Sioux City last Sat. Same in Ks this week. Gas was $3.09 at a BP here in Sioux Falls this week.

This morning three stations in my town are at $6.09.Next town east of me has three at $6.09,and next town west has a high of $5.74 for diesel.I am noticing that some stations are not posting on their big digital signs.By law here they have to advertise their prices, but those signs on top of the pumps do cover the law. They don't have to use their big signs. They can't just use the numbers behind the glass on the pump face. There is a size requirement, and you actually can read them from 25 feet away.My town and the one east of me both have a couple of stations with gas over $4.I have a wood chipper with a bad engine, and I have been looking for a diesel power unit to replace it with.A few days ago I bought a gas industrial power unit to use on it.

Its so bad here now that to fill a Jerry can of fuel , even for a mower , or in my case a tractor is inviting nasty looks and cries of ' hoarder ' . Fuel is just starting to run out .
Easter / school holidays have made the situation doubly volatile , frayed nerves , screaming children , long hours at the wheel and prices still well over $3 per litre . All this has made a visit to the fuel station less preferable than a month's visit from a mother inlaw !
