difference between block casting numbers?

I'm marrying up two engines with slightly different block casting numbers but both seem to lead back to being Super 88 blocks. Are there any significant differences between the two other than one being early S88 and other Late S88 and early 880?

1KA-100-E with 190320-K below

the other is

1K100E with 190320H above it.
