Different Wheels

I have a 53 Jubilee with two different rear wheels. One is the 6 spoke and the other is all smooth. Which one is the correct wheel?
Thanks,

Den is correct. NAA came with the solid wheel and hat rims.
Though no one has verified this I believe the hat rims were done away with, partly because they were more expensive to build than the 6 loop rims. But also, because the 6 loop rim, in conjunction with the scalloped center makes it MUCH easier to adjust the width of the tires.
Just another one of many refinements/improvements Ford made to these tractors over the years.
If you are looking for originality, a solid or non scalloped center should be very easy to find as they were the same as the 8N centers.
Good luck.

I had the same problem when I got my 1954 NAA (Rustbucket). The smooth round center is correct for originality sake. I decided I liked the scalloped wheel centers better when the rims are the 6 loop variety instead of the stock hat rims (like is on your bottom pic). I found another scalloped for mine.

Not original, but I think it looks nicer IMO.

I have the same thing, I though I was the only one with wheels like this, Anyone else have this problem and live in Michigan and would like to trade let me know, I just want something that will match, dont care about original, but tire must be in good shape.
