Dirt scoop

Picked up a dirt scoop about a week ago. Tried it both ways 1. Pointed to front, working like a scraper. 2. Pointed to rear backing into dirt.

Which do you guys prefer? Way I see it, getting from a pile with it pointed forward is harder, backing into dirt I am worried about bending arms. Justed wanted some other input.

Lewis.......generally, I mount my "scoop" for backin' into the pile. I also use "stabilizer bars" back to the fender pins for stability and no swingin' round.......Dell

What Dell said. That's just the way I do it, with stab bars and I don't just back into dirt piles, I've actually dug flower beds with it.
