Disc Harrows

I want to get a disc harrow for my 1952 TO30. I was wondering what to look for that is suitable for my TO30. Like as far as weight and all. Right now I have a spring tooth for it but that doesn't weigh much compared to a disc. I don't want to overwork or push my TO30 to much. I was looking at a medium duty disk harrow. What do you guys think?

Farmers generally consider disc/harrow to be 2 different implements. The disc has dish shaped
discs, and a harrow has pegs. In use, a farmer used to plow a field, then disc it, THEN, if
planting small seed harrow it. IF planting row crops, he would use the harrow right after planting,
or at least right after he saw the plants coming out of the ground. Harrows are also useful for
dragging pastures to break up and spread manure piles.

What you say is true, however, years ago, advertisers did call the disc, especially a tandem disc, a "disc harrow".

I've heard them called disc harrows by farmers all my life especially the older farmers.All sorts of harrows spring tooth,spike,disc,etc.Just saying 'harrow' doesn't pin it down to
what type.

We always called it a disc, but technically it was a disc harrow. The implement used for smoothing and incorporating new seeding was called a peg tooth harrow, or spike tooth harrow, and some folks called it a drag harrow.

Also different types of discs (or disk as some spell it) 3pt disc,finishing disc,cutting disc,bog disc,offset disc,etc.
