Disc Mower

What would you pay for a M&W disc mower in decent shape with bad belts and maybe bearings. The one im looking at is $325.00. Is that fair. Thanks!

I just cant see a disc mower bein listed that cheap. How many bearings could possibly be bad? I know the bearings in my hesston 1320 moco bar are easily 100 bucks a piece and the belts will probably run you a good bit. My bar had one bad bearing in one idler gear and I am replacing 4 gears at 250 a pop and one at 400 a pop. So if that gives you any indication, im not sayin run but def check it out and maybe its better to buy one you know has been takin care of or get this one and rebuild from ground up and that way youll know what you have.

You can get a really nice used one for 4000, I'd say you'll easily drop that much and then some in this one and still have a worn out abused mower.

I'd stay far away from it. I went that route 2 years ago with a 8ft mower that i bought for $575 and had over $1500 in parts in it and it still wasn't right. Used it as trade in when my dad bought a new mower and took his. Take it from me STAY AWAY.

I bought a nice Kuhn mower at a local auction for $2,000 and it needed nothing. Also bought an 8 wheel hay rake for $700. I will stay away from this mower. Thanks!
