Aiken is right. It is a Kewanee for sure. I have
pics in front of me but it is hard to tell if it
is a model 9 or a 136. The 9 was built approx in
1954, the 100 series came right after. I am 99%
sure it is the 136. They had choice of cast iron
brg. assembly or Timken "green" bearing assy. It
looks like you have the cast bearings.I have lots
of memories of setting them up for Dad. Chuck

I had a Kewanee like that only mine was the widest model, you have the narrowest model with one in between. I had the grease once as season bearings, disk is long gone but on here I hear those bearings are hard to get. Any 18" blade will work. The 100 series.

well i think the bearings are fine i took out and replaced the grease certs and they all took grease and i thnik the bearings are fine but the discs are poor. it set for a long long time and the half of the disc that was sitting closest to the ground has rusted out chucks about and inch or two on the edge. i guess there ok other than that. I just finished painting it and putting on new hoses and better tires and wheels the cylinder is ok but id sure like it better if the discs were replaced.
how much do you think it would cost to replace them.
Thank you all so much for the info you have helped me out alot i apriciate it

It looks like you have the rear gang set at a different angle than the front; You want to have the same angle front and rear to eliminate building ridges.
