Distributor caps

Does anyone still make distributor caps with brass contacts ? I have an Oliver 1650 I have been trying to get running right and bought a cap from local Napa. Seems like all the caps now have aluminum contacts ? I put the cap on the tractor 2 maybe 3 weeks ago and when I took it off yesterday it already was oxidized with white stuff you could scrape off with your fingernail or knife. It has a Holley distributor to begin with so parts arent all that available at the auto parts stores. Just curious is any manufacture still uses brass contacts.

Much of the old stuff I work on has Delco ignition and I have bought lots of quality "new old stock" parts on ebay.

Dunno if there's any original/NOS Holley stuff there, mite B worth a look.

Check on ebay might find a nos cap. does the cap fit anything else? Probably does. check that a also. Stan

Brillman may. I got a new cap and rotor for my E4 from my local independent parts store. I think it was brass but I'd have to check.

The last ones I purchased from Brillman for IH had brass contacts. You could check and see.

Replace the holly distributor with delco out of 88 or similar. Parts available the holly is an orphan

I'll second what Duner and Mike said about Brillman. Everything I have ordered has been as factory original as possible. Just recently ordered a distributor cap for sons Farmall 140 and it has brass terminals also.

I agree with your suggestion try brillman, I got caps for the h4 ihc magneto from them ,almost positive they are brass
