distributor drive?

I have a generator with a distributor driven off the back. 4 cyl. and the gen bolts to a front cover and is gear driven. It says autolite on a tag.

Any idea which tractor manufacturer used that design?

I think some of the Hercules engines may have used a set up like this.

Wisconsin 4-cylinder engines were set up that way, also, plus who knows how many others.
