Distributor springs for a Delco

I pulled the distributor, the weights are clean and free but the springs maybe the problem. Where can I get springs for a Delco vertical distributor 111411 for a Farmall M? I need the company name, phone number and the part number of the springs. Thank you!

might be a tough find. you could try calling, steiner, bates, or brillman. best is to talk in person. ihc has many distributors with different advance weights/ springs, for diff. advances. you need to start calling.

A Delco Remy distributor part number generally has 7 digits; it looks like you are missing a digit.

If your distributor is actually a DR 1111411 it looks like McDonald Carb and Ignition have the springs (and some other parts if needed). I suggest calling them. (Phone/fax 706-367-4179). Give them your correct distributor number and they will tell you the part number they offer (I don't want to give you the number I think it is and have it wrong, let them tell you.).

We have checked online Brill mans, Steiner, ASAP and I don't remember what else but will start calling in the morning. Thank you.

And since that’s delco dist , might be worth checking with Napa.

If all else fails try after market performance store . Search Delco distributor spring kits up to 1957. Summit Racing has kits for 1957 up Delco. Usually kits have weights and multiple sets of springs. On my M with vertical Delco I had to change the total advance a lot after installing IH Firecrater pistons.

Here is McDonald's web page showing the springs for a Delco 1111411 distributor. Again, I just advise calling and confirming to order. I have always had good luck with getting parts from them.
