On a Jubilee 6 volt positive ground does the distributor hook to the positive side or negative side of the coil?

(+) coil terminal to distributor low tension terminal.

Coil polarity should follow battery polarity. ie: battery = positive ground, coil should be positive ground (when the points in the distributor close, current goes through to ground).

That being said, it will work either way, but will see a slightly better spark when following battery polarity.

Your ESSENTIAL MANUALS & DOCUMENTS come in handy. Just because you have a 6V Battery don't assume your entire wiring is setup for a 6V/POS GRN system. Verify
everything including correct timing on flywheel thru inspection cover.

Thank you

I love it when Tim replies to a question. I learn 300% more than the answer to the question asked.

I copy and file all your illustrations Tim. I stick them in the back of the FO4 manual.
