Hi,I'm going to fit a two port diverter valve and run a log splitter.Is it ok to use the feed pipe from this for my single pipe tipping trailer I have heard there may be an issue because when returning the stand pipe is too small.The return pipe from splitter willl go in the gear housing filler cap.

The model of tractor would help 
If it's an early Ferguson or Massey Ferguson you might find the pump very , very slow .
A much more efficient system is to use the pto to run a splitter with an external pump .
