Dltx #5 brass carb.

I have the brass body but no float or bowl. Seems they took the cast bowl but dlx13 and dlx 7 are to big for it.I was wondering if there is any place to find the correct float and bowl for this carb? Anyone know the correct bowl number? Thanks

The early carbs made from bronze used cast iron bowls with a smaller hole for the 3/4" threaded stem - otherwise they are the same. Later bowls were bored for the 7/8" stem when cast iron bodies became in use. The 3/4" bowls are hard to find - I just machine a small bushing and press it in place to reduce either a DLT7 or DLT13 bowl so it will fit. The regular brass float will fit fine.
