Do you recognize this part?

I have been working on a foot clutch DC this winter. The clutch assembly was taken apart years ago by the person I bought the tractor from, and I am having trouble finding a place for this part. Can anyone identify this part or know where it goes in the clutch area, or maybe it doesn"t even belong to this tractor at all. I am not finding it in the parts diagram, but maybe I"m just missing it. Thanks for any help. John.

It looks to me like 1/2 of the throwout bearing.Ron

Looks like the inner race of a thrust bearing BUT the small size suggests it is not part of the DC clutch. That DC thrust bearing is much larger in diameter and even the pilot bearing is larger in dia.

I don't know where or if it is for a "DC" but it looks similar to a bicycle bearing race .

If it fits anywhere there it would probably be on the clutch yoke shaft which should be about a 1- inch shaft. Or it may be a throw out part. That's a part that was accidently left in the machine that needs to be thrown out.---Derrol in Texas---

It looks like the ball carrier in the governor that ramps the speed change for pull and control.
