Does this tool exist ?

I need an adaptor to be able to use my 3/8" drive battery ratchet with quick release 1/4" Hex drive bits.
So it needs to be female at both ends one to fit onto the 3/8" drive the other to accept a 1/4" hex shank .
No one in local tool shops seems to know if such a thing is available .
I could make one I suppose , it's unlikely to be strong enough though .

Why not just use a 1/4" 3/8 6 side drive deep socket and either put some material inside to keep the 1/4" quick release from slipping out or use red locktight for a permanent setup.

I'm with Jim. A 1/4" deepwell socket will hold those driver bits.

Perfect , I will epoxy a small Neodymium magnet inside to hold the bits .

How about the bit holder for a 3/8 inch impact driver, the one you smack with a hammer. Your local shops should have known that. LOL

I have one of those manual impact drivers, it uses 3/8" bits. Good thinking though.
