Domed buildings what for.

Anybody know what these big domed building are for? I live by two dairies and both of them just put them up by their runoff ponds.

They are anerobic digesters, generate gas from the manure. Several different types of systems out there now from primitive with floating vinyl covers on tanks to state-of-the-art computer operated systems. Most run an engine that powers a generator.
