Don Rudolph

Don,

The Ft Smith Tractor Center was a dealer in Ft Smith, Ark from about 60,61 to the early 70's. Had one of the nice new buildings case was pushing at the time. Before them O D Powers equipmemt was there from way back before I can rememtber. He sold a lot of vac, a 6 combines and always had a good inventory of the 100 series. Sold a lot of balers back then. Those were the days. Remember going in there with Dad when the 700 and 800 hundreds were new. He had a new 700 with a "BIG" 4 row planter setting on the show room floor. He had a "quanset" Barn for the dealership. Looked huge to me then but now I drive by that building and wonder how he could get it all in there.

Memories, memories. We have to drive about 65 miles to a dealer that pushes N H over case. Claimes to be a case dealer to but we are orphins to him.

Don , have you started a list of old CASE dealers on here? I have been in the hospital for several days , just turned this on now , saw something about Case dealers yrs ago, it had your name on it.
I would like to help you out with names and address, as I grew up with CASE. Dad would not have any other brand on the farm .Thanks.clint

Hey had been trying to get ahold of Derek Pedigo I would like to ask him some questions about the pulling tractor that I have seen videos and pics of if maybe you could email me your number that would be great

Wheat Straw,

I loved going to the Case dealer with my Dad in the early 60's. Our dealer was in an old brick livery stable which was right downtown and close to the train tracks as well. I still remember the posters with the new tractors hanging on the wall. I wonder how many dealers of all brands sold out of quonset buildings. No wonder a regular person could be a dealer back then. Thank you for the information! Don
