Done, For Now, I think.

Almost sounds like the Man's Prayer, doesn't it? I had the Allis out in the Sunshine today for the first time under it's own power and drive able. It was so nice I decided to drive it into town and fill the gas tank. I had a couple errands at the pharmacy and hardware store anyway. It is 3 miles from my driveway to the stop light in town. Only about 1/2 mile is on a state route, but it is the worst part. 2 lane and double yellow lines all the way that people WILL pass me on. Anyway. the drive in went really well and I REALLY like the electric start. Bought the gas and came on home. There are 2 hills on the way back that can raise the temperature of the tractor a little. It barely got to the green area on the gauge. But it was in the low 60's Fahrenheit. Anyway, here are some pictures I took. It may or may not get some more paint.

Thank you all for the help.

Nice. Where are you? It looks like you're out on the country, but it's quite developed. I see fence posts. Any animals pastured, or is that all gone?

Nice work, bwillett! I really appreciate the photos. My Dad started farming with one of these in about 1951, and it was still running at his farm auction when he retired. We had a two row cultivator for it, and after one summer, I had the biceps to prove it. We pulled the cultivator off every fall, and added the pulley for the flat belt to power the elevator for storing the corn. All my brothers were younger, so I was the only one other than my Dad who could start the old girl. (No electric starter, just a hand crank.) I'll have to dig up some photos of the cultivator set-up. It was a two-row monster!

Thanks, this is the tractor that inspired me to own this one. It is My Dad with His Allis WC on the day before I was born. It was his only tractor and we had 76 acres. Dad sold the fame and the equipment when I was 10 and we moved into town. The tractor sat at a farm in the area, and we drove by it quite often and then one day, it disappeared....

Thanks, and Yes, those are cultivator brackets. I have the power lift brackets that go behind the belt pulley, too, but they wont fit with the belt pulley on and I have not found the plate that blocks the hole
in the frame yet, or the bracket would be on there....
