Good Evening Everyone,
I have a 76 International 364 tractor and my draft link plunger seal is leaking. I was looking in my service manual and it tells me to remove the lift housing off the tractor invert and I can access the draft link plunger from the access panel underneath. My question is, the manual says to install the o ring seal on the plunger. Is there a grove that this o ring sits in. It looks like I’ll be replacing a o ring on the plunger and an external dust/scraper seal on the housing. Also those of you that have done this, any issues you have run into, things to inspect or recommendations while I have this housing apart, or an easier way to change this. Just trying to get all my ducks in a row before taking this apart. I’m also including an exploded parts diagram of the seals #41, 42 and a pic of my draft link. I believe this control is similar on the 354, and 444 tractors. Thanks in advance for your replies.
