drag link ends

the drag link ends on my 55 has grease fittings. the same ends on my 56 does not. the 57 i looked at had grease fittings.
any ideas why no grease fittings on one year and not the next? supply chain foul up ?
the 56 has power steering. might that have something to with it?

Ones that has no grease fitting is original, replacments had fittings.

Shows a "Lubricator" (200 191 M1) for the front ones, not for the rear ones.
