Dual 320 Loader - what does it fit?

A guy has a Dual 320 Loader for sale - it was mounted on Farmall 656.

I looking for one to fit my 706. I know the story about with a welder and a torch you can make anything fit but I don't want to get that far into it.

Is that the kind that push's off the rear axels,i think a 706 is a bit longer, but that's a old loader,i don't think it would be worth it,even it might be free!!

The 320 was a fairly decent loader for its time but there are better more modern faster acting loaders out there. I had a 320 that was retrofitted from a 756 to a 630 Deere. Used it hard for 39 years with a minimum of cracking and welding. The two bucket cylinders give it tremendous roll back power but being underslung the bucket cylinders were more prone to getting scratched. Cylinder seal replacement gets to be routine after awhile. One advantage to the 320 cylinders is you will never bend them.

Everything is the same on a 706 and 656 frame wise until you get to the bell housing.

Depnds on how the loader is mounted to the 656 as to how much you will have to change to make it fit the 706.

There will definitely need to be changes made where it mounts to the rear axle. If it's cheap enough it will be worth the effort.

I have a 325 on my SMTA. I don't know what it came off of but fit it fine. Messicks has parts breakdown for loader. I was able to get an operator manual from Woods for mine. If 656 and 706 are same length from axle to front it should fit. Mine has some rectangular extensions from loader frame to axle. I suspect those were made in different lengths for different tractors. I couldn't get manual that showed how different models were shipped. I suspect an M would take different length adapters due to shorter torque tube.
