Dual Loader Cylinder Identification

Hello everyone,
I recently bought a Massey Ferguson 65 Perkins with a Dual loader. I have been unable to identify the loader model because it's been painted over multiple times. Both lift cylinders were previously not leaking a bit, but one day I woke up to a big puddle of hydraulic oil under each cylinder and an empty reservoir. So I decided to rebuild the cylinders. The rod is 2 1/4 and the barrel is 3 inches, and from what I found there was only one kit for Dual cylinders of those dimensions so I ordered it. Then I proceeded to disassemble a cylinder. It went smoothly until I got to pulling the rod out. Wouldn't budge no matter what I did, so I chained one end to the truck and one end to the jeep and used a comealong to pull it apart. When that failed I just jerked it with the jeep and that worked. I probably caused plenty of damage. But now that it's apart I have no idea what I'm looking at. There are no O rings at all, instead there are six thick composite rubber rings that look a lot like tire rubber. Never seen anything like it and can't find a kit either. So what are these cylinders, and is there a kit for them?

Post some pictures of the entire loader, someone might recognize it.

I am guessing that cylinder has Vee ring packings. A stack should have a heavy flat-bottomed ring the vee rings set on and a top ring that sets on the vee rings and has a flat top. You need to see if the packings separate and are as I describe.

Heres the packing ring, they are all the exact same. All rubber and one piece, and they sit right against the rod.

Have you been to a hydraulic shop in your area to see if they can match the packings up?

Baum Hydraulics shows some kits for Du-Al loaders. You should call them and talk with them. With dimensions and descriptions, they may be able to match yours, you might need to email pictures. Their catalog lists some packings as Tire Cord material.

Ok, I'll check them out. Unfortunately there is no hydraulic shop anywhere near me. Closest thing we have to anything is John Deere dealers.
