At that price i guess a nigerian coul send him a certified MO for 15000. and then have him use the rest to pay shipping and send the other 4950$ back as a money order when he ships the valve!!!

Here's my theory: someone wandered by and made a deal on the valve. The seller couldn't find the page on ebay where you cancel a listing (it takes me 15 minutes to find it everytime I need it), so he just revised it (that button is easy to find) to a ridiculous price so no one would bid on the now non-existent valve.

Hey, if anyone is interested you can go to ebay and "view the sellers other items" and there is a picture of the valve. It's painted a nice shade of blue to protect the gold.

OK, to me that just confirms my theory that I posted below. He decided not to sell the valve on ebay for whatever reason. But he couldn't figure out how to cancel a listing. All he could do was revise it. I notice the auction page says it's been revised.

The revisions he made are:

1. he deleted the photo
2. he jacked up the price so high no one would bid on it.

The only thing he forgot to do was delete the gallery photo (small thumbnail).
